Grind Tricks: Crooked Grind

Step 1:
The Position
Approach so that your back is facing the ledge. Have your back foot on the tail and your front foot on the front bolts. Come towards the ledge at an angle so you can ollie and get it into the crooked position.
Step 2:
The Motion
Place your front foot on the nose and your back foot on the tail. The tail of the skateboard should be in the air while the front trucks and nose of your skateboard are grinding. Keep enough weight on the nose to actually grind.
Step 3:
The Landing
Come off the trick by putting enough weight on the nose and pop it off the ledge. Land on the bolts and roll away free.
Step 4:
Having Problems?
You might be too close to the ledge so you don't even get in to crooked grind position... causing you to hit the ledge and bail. Also, you might land in crooked grind position but put too much weight on the nose and get stuck, or not enough weight on the nose and slip out.
